Independent, state-certified medical evaluations for workers' compensation cases in California.

What is QME Evaluations?

A Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) is a physician certified by the California Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) to perform independent medical evaluations in disputed workers' compensation cases. Our physicians are QME-certified and provide thorough, objective evaluations that assess the nature, extent, and causation of work-related injuries and determine appropriate treatment and disability ratings.

  • 1

The QME is assigned through the California DWC panel process

  • 2

A comprehensive review of all medical records and history is conducted prior to the exam

  • 3

A thorough physical examination is performed by our QME-certified physician

  • 4

A detailed written report is prepared addressing all medical-legal questions

  • 5

Reports are completed within the timeframes required by California workers' compensation law
